"Summertime" is my summer 08 in a nutshell. The house we live in has quite a bit of plane traffic overhead, and I did a bit of traveling. I mowed the lawn a lot and had my first experience with mole hills! We planted our first garden together and enjoyed the summer berries from local farms. We were so lucky to be able to spend two weeks in AZ with my family, and in the lake! Next, I started sculpting with clay again, and even with copper wires I collected from construction sites I worked on. Oxbow park was one of our favorite spots to swim, hike, and take photos; and we always saw deer! We got to paint the three bedrooms of the house! I even made stripes on one of the office walls! Finally, I played a lot of softball. We even traveled to Bend to compete in a tourney. And I drank a lot of Bud Light, represented by all the silver cans! "Rhino" was for my oldest brother's birthday. "Bluejays was for my sister's second baby girl, Hailey. "Frogs" was for my sister's first girl, who is obsessed with frogs! "Lady bugs" was for my youngest niece, Aleya! The two large bugs on the upper right represent Kara and I, watching her learn how to fly. And two other very similar bugs on the top and the bottom, represent her twin cousins; who love to play with her.
